About The Founder
Seph Fontane Pennock is a digital entrepreneur, health educator, and platform builder with a track record of building trusted online businesses at the intersection of education, behavioural science, and software. He previously built Positive Psychology, one of the world’s most recognised evidence-based wellbeing platforms, and co-founded Quenza, a software platform used by coaches, therapists, and practitioners worldwide. He is also the founder of Regenerated, the first US-based directory for regenerative health treatments. Through BaricBoost, Seph is now focused on making hyperbaric oxygen therapy research, equipment comparisons, and patient-first education more accessible to people making important health decisions.
From Psychology Platforms to Hyperbaric Health Education
When asked about his journey from digital education platforms like Positive Psychology and Quenza into the world of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Seph explained that the move was never driven by trend chasing or market hype.
“Most of my best projects started with a real problem, not a spreadsheet. BaricBoost was no different. I personally went through hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and very quickly I realised how fragmented the information was. Some resources were too technical for new patients, some were heavily commercial, and some were clearly written to sell equipment rather than help people make informed decisions.”
Seph shared that after spending years building platforms where trust, education, and evidence mattered, he recognised a familiar gap.
“I saw a space where patients were making expensive health decisions without having a neutral place to actually understand the ecosystem first. That immediately felt like something worth building.”
That early frustration eventually became BaricBoost.
Why BaricBoost Exists
When asked what problem BaricBoost is solving, Seph was very clear that hyperbaric oxygen therapy is no longer a niche clinical conversation.
According to him, the market is changing quickly, and patient behaviour is changing even faster.
“At first glance, hyperbaric oxygen therapy can look like a highly specialised medical topic, but once you start researching it, you realise how quickly the ecosystem expands. Patients are comparing clinics, home chambers, rental options, pressure ratings, oxygen systems, maintenance costs, and long-term ownership decisions. For most people, it becomes overwhelming very quickly.”
He explained that BaricBoost was built to simplify that process through independent education.
“We are not manufacturers. We are not trying to push a single treatment model. Our role is to help patients understand the market before they spend money, commit to protocols, or make decisions that affect their health.”
Today, that educational approach can be seen across resources such as what is a hyperbaric chamber, equipment comparisons, cost breakdowns, and patient-focused buying guides.
What Previous Ventures Taught Him About Trust
When asked how his previous ventures influenced BaricBoost, Seph pointed back to one principle that has shaped most of his work.
“Trust compounds. That has been true in psychology, software, and now healthcare. In categories where people are making meaningful personal decisions, authority cannot be manufactured overnight. You earn it through consistency, evidence, transparency, and by being genuinely useful before trying to monetise.”
He shared that this philosophy directly shapes how BaricBoost is being built.
Rather than chasing broad traffic across dozens of unrelated categories, Seph said the platform remains intentionally focused on a specific ecosystem where depth matters more than volume.
Current areas of focus include:
- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy education
- Equipment comparisons
- Treatment cost analysis
- Home ownership guidance
- Patient-first buying research
- Long-term recovery decision-making
“I would rather build one platform that people genuinely trust than ten sites that generate traffic but no real authority.”
How Patient Behaviour Is Changing
One of the most interesting parts of the conversation came when we asked Seph how he sees modern healthcare consumers changing.
He believes patients today are doing far more independent research than the industry often assumes.
“Patients no longer wait until they walk into a clinic to start learning. They are reading studies, comparing protocols, watching real treatment sessions, speaking with existing users, and trying to understand long-term ownership before spending serious money.”
He added that this shift is creating a very different healthcare landscape.
“Traditional healthcare marketing is still catching up. Patients are becoming more data-driven, more skeptical, and more willing to challenge what they are told. Platforms that help people make smarter decisions will have a major role in the next phase of healthcare.”
Building Quietly, Building for the Long Term
When asked about the future of BaricBoost, Seph did not talk about rapid exits, aggressive monetisation, or scaling at any cost.
Instead, he returned to the same principle that shaped his earlier ventures.
“I am not interested in building noise. I am interested in building infrastructure. If BaricBoost becomes the place patients trust before making hyperbaric decisions, then growth becomes a by-product of doing the right work consistently.”
As BaricBoost continues expanding across patient education, equipment research, and independent hyperbaric insights, it is clear that Seph Fontane Pennock is applying the same long-term thinking that shaped his earlier ventures… only this time in one of healthcare’s most interesting emerging categories.
The approach Seph takes reflects the same compounding logic behind the Authority Engineering Framework™– building editorial trust signals that strengthen over time rather than chasing short-term visibility.
